A receiver worn fortoo long or made too tight on the pet’s neck may causeskin damage. Ranging from redness to pressure ulcers;this condition is commonly known as bed sores.Do not leave the receiver on the dog for more than 12hours per day.When possible re-position the receiver on the pet’sneck at least every 1 to 2 hours.Check the fit to prevent excessive pressure; follow theinstructions in this manual.Never connect a leash to the electronic collar; it willcause excessive pressure on the contacts.Wash the dog’s neck area and the contact points on thereceiver weekly with a damp cloth. Examine the contactarea daily for signs of a rash or a sore. If a rash or sore is found, discontinue use of the receiveruntil the skin has healed. If the condition persistsbeyond 48 hours, see your veterinarian.The system has been tested for IPX9K waterproofrating. it can be submerged into water up to 1 meter forup to 30 minutes. If submerged and wet, please do notuse.These steps will help keep your pet safe and comfortable.Some pets are sensitive to contact pressure. You mayfind after some time that your pet is very tolerant of thee-collar. If so, you may relax some of these precautions.
